Nina Mykolaivna is 76 years old and has been a widow for 19 years. Her husband worked in Pripyat, near Chernobyl. Because of the accident at the nuclear power plant they were moved to the village of Zdvizhivka in 1986. Her husband fell ill with cancer and died. She has a daughter who is also sick.
During this war, 2 tanks were parked in their yard. Russian soldier climbed into the house and smashed the windows and doors. They took everything from the house and barn, even potatoes in sacks to be used for planting in the spring.
