Have you ever thought about how you will meet your old age?
Galina, (a widow of 84) in her younger years was a teacher in the village. Throughout her life she taught children the school curriculum enabling rural children to gain good knowledge and become successfully educated people. She was not ready for her old age because life and energy always flowed inside Galina. At the age of 80 she still managed to do many things around the house and garden. We met Galina 3 years ago and were pleasantly surprised that so much life, love and warmth flows through her.
This grandmother (widow) was very kind to us, she treated us with sweets.
Each of our visits to her house was pleasant, she loved to listen to the gospel and also loved us to pray for her.
One time grandmother Galina said that she wanted to repent and open her heart to Jesus. We were very happy with her desire and decision.
Having heard the Gospel, she understood that eternity and a meeting with God awaited her. She understood there was something more than earthly life and joyfully said a prayer of repentance.
We continued to surround her with care and to serve her but one day we found out Galina fell and broke her shoulder and collarbone. This caused her to stop moving and she began to lose her balance. After a while, she fell again and broke her hip. By the age of 84, grandmother Galina became disabled and bedridden. Thanks to Widows Care our team delivers food, medicine and diapers every month. Through this service, God gives Galina love and hope that he will love and be with her forever.
