Mir was founded in the early 90’s by Dave & Jan Brunk as charitable vehicle for innovative and culturally engaging Christian mission efforts across the former Soviet Union.

Bruce & Deborah Crowe have been serving as missionaries in Ukraine since 2008 and overseeing Mir Ministries since 2017. Mir has continued to seek out emerging missional opportunities among the next generation through mercy ministry, creative platforms, and the arts.

Bruce holds a Master of Arts in Global Leadership, and is currently working on his doctorate in the same field with a focus on holistic learning practices in collective societies. Deborah, is a certified Spiritual Director, and also currently pursuing her Masters in Chaplaincy. She enjoys making space for monastic listening practices and designing prayer retreats for thirsty souls.

The Crowe’s, along with their children who remain at home, are currently residing in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
