Widow Nadezhda Dmitrievna is 94 years old!
She lives all the time in Ukraine, her childhood was hard (war 1941-1945). After the war she studied, graduated from the Medical Institute, worked as a female doctor all her life.
After widowhood, after some time she suffered a huge grief, her daughter was killed. Nadezhda Dmitrievna took on the guardianship of her little granddaughter Lisa, almost 75 years old.
She raised and educated Lisa herself. For 4 years our team of volunteers has been in close contact with her, although we knew her even earlier. Thanks to God and the mission of the ministry for widows, we have the opportunity to visit her, communicate, share the Word of God, and pray with her. At first the relatives who opened her house to us were very wary of us and did not want to communicate with us.
But Nadezhda always waited for us, was very happy and always thanked God for the medicines she needed and for food from the mission to serve widows, although she never asked for anything.
Thanks to the mission and help from it, we started to visit Nadezhda Dmitrievna. She always thanks God for everything and for everyone. She always tells us that she prays for everyone!
Her favorite expression is – God is Love!
God is doing a great work in the hearts of her family. For a while, after the coronavirus epidemic, we could not visit her, her relatives did not want to. We kept praying and communicating with her by phone. And after a year, we were able to visit her again.
God made a miracle! If before the relatives shunned us, now they are waiting to meet us when the volunteers come. They are waiting and taking part in the conversation, listening to the Word of God, loving and waiting for prayer!
Thanks to God and the mission of the ministry to widows, the Gospel, the Truth about Jesus the Savior is heard by our widows, and what is even more joyful is that God gives the opportunity to relatives to hear the Truth about Jesus the Savior!
