Nadiya was born in October 1953 in the village of Nepedivka, Vynnytsia. Her name means “Hope”. Married in 1973 and widowed in 2010, she and her husband had two sons. One of their sons died, and the other spent time in prison. Now her son lives with Nadiya and is unable to work.

Previously, Nadiya worked at a power plant. She suffered a heart attack caused by chronic cytrocytosis (blood clotting). Constant ongoing treatment is necessary for her condition. Nadiya’s pension is $83 per month, which makes it impossible for her to pay for treatments, but Mir Ministries has been able to help Nadiya with the cost. Therefore, she is very grateful to all the sponsors for their generous help!
